Thanks to the Oregon Art Commission and the Regional Arts and Cultural Council, Art on Alberta’s 2009 Art Hop is well on it’s way to reaching our funding goals. This year is shaping up to really set a new bar for the community activities.
Don’t forget that we are still looking for a Volunteer Coordinator to sit on the board. E-mail resume and letter of intent to email@example.com.

As part of the street closure for the upcoming Last Thursday Art Walks in August and September, the Last Thursday Preservation Society is recruiting thoughtful, committed volunteers to help staff the art walk. We need approximately 30-60 people and are asking Alberta St. businesses to please send out a plea for volunteers to their customer mailing lists.
There will be a volunteer training session on Monday, August 25, 2008 at 6:30 PM at the Acadian Ballroom, 1829 NE Alberta Street to teach volunteers their roles and make assignments. Refreshments will be provided.
Volunteers will be asked to work August 28th and September 25th for approximately 4 hours or less. The more volunteers, the shorter the shifts.
For more info, please email: firstname.lastname@example.org.
